Listen to this farewell song:
Typical Led Zeppelin 60's rock sound.
This song was influenced by the book The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.
The song is not so much a farewell or goodbye, but has a 'thanks for the wine, I'm off now' feel:
"Leaves are fallin' all around, time I was on my way
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay
But now it's time for me to go, the autumn moon lights my way
Got no time to for spreadin roots,
The time has come to be gone."

School's Out - Alice Cooper
Alice Cooper's classic hard rock/heavy metal end-of-school anthem was his answer to the question, "What's the greatest three minutes of your life?". His reply? "The last three minutes of the last day of school when you're sitting there and it's like a slow fuse burning...If we can catch that three minutes in a song, it's going to be so big."
The song has been used so many times in movies, tv shows and commercials, with numerous different versions, that we can safely say that those three minutes were successfully captured!
