To me, you're more than a teacher,
To me, you're like the North Star.
You shine then most.
You're always there and you always care.

To me, you're more than a teacher,
To me you're an inspiration.
You taught me to take the good with the bad,
And smile when I'm sad.
Taught me to love what I've got,
And remember what I've had.

I'm grateful for your wisdom,
For the teacher that you are,
You're a very good person,
And as a teacher you're a star.
