Retirement Felicity Swemmer

by Lynne
(Pretoria South Africa)

Dear Felicity

We are very sorry to see you go. Your choice to retire at this young age is not a decision taken lightly. It has been a pleasure working with you and sharing all the joys, sorrows, the ups and downs some major and minor disasters but we got through it all with God's strenght and guidance.I wish you and Vernon a wonderful retirement.

May you always have work for your hands to do.
May your pockets hold always a coin or two.
May the sun shine bright on your windowpane.
May the rainbow be certain to follow each rain.
May the hand of a friend always be near you.
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
~Irish Blessing

Thank you to wonderful friends
by: Felicity

I have only just read all the messages (due to my networking challenges) and am so touched and moved by the love and care coming through the words. God has blessed me so much, I can't find words to express how I feel _ just know the years at Valley I will treasure for ever. I got to know and love you all and have made memories that have a special place in my heart always. My heart belongs at Valley - I miss you all so much.
Lots of love
Felicity

Felicity farewell
by: Alan

You have been an absolute star and will be missed very much. This is as much about you as a person as your secretarial skills. You are a true and loyal friend and colleague. I do not think anyone could ask for a better person to front their office as you. I am just glad that you are retaining your membership here for the meanwhile, it makes the break a little more bearable for all your friends.
I know you will be a blessing where ever you go. I pray that you recieve more than you so abundantly give.
Blessings
Alan

Blessings on a New Beginning
by: Des & Krissi

Just a message to wish you loads of blessings and success for a new adventure in your life! Felicity you are such a special person and has been such an inspiration to me in your gentle, caring and compassionate manner. Always willing to help, listen and reach out to people! I hope that you will have more time available to spend with your family! Lots of love - Krissi
Firstly, just to echo Krissi's words. Thanks also for the wonderful privilege of working alongside you for 2 years, I couldn't have asked for a better colleague and friend. It was a blessing to see an angel in action and getting to know you better. I look forward to many more years of friendship with you and Vernon. Continue being God's hands and feet in everything you do. Love and kisses, Des.

Till we meet again
by: Elaine

Filly,

You have touched my life more than I can say, from the first day we met at cell (it seems so long ago), you have been more that a friend to me.

I wish you and Vernon the very, very, very best in this new and exiting chapter of your lives.

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and the rain fall softly on your fields.

God Bless!!

With all my love

Elaine xxx

Felicity, where does time go to? It feels like yesterday when me and Piet joined Valley and met you at Mike's fellowship group. The various outings we had as a group, braais... those were good times!!
The personal touch/service we allways received when you were secretary. nothing to big or small, always smiling, such a good organiser!!
Thank you for all the years that you gave to all at Valley.
Lots of love Piet and Lorraine

You were a very special lady
by: Gladys

Dear Felicity.
I will miss you so much, all our chatting and sorting out a thing of the past.
Sometimes it seemed like we needed a direct line to sort out all the things that needed organising.
Thank you so much for all that you did and made life so much easier for me to do the books.
Also just your gentle manner and being there just about always to help and to answer questions and queries and organise things for me. I do appreciate it.
Hope you will find it a real blessing as you hopefully take it a little easier.
Pray God's deep touch on you and that you continue to feel His love and prescence as you journey with Him.
Love Gladys

Happy retirement
by: Ria Joynt

Dear Felicity

Retirement actually starts the day your youngest child left school. Then there is no more rushing to make sandwiches, no more late night homework assignments, you can sleep a little later, lie a little longer in the bath and go our with your girlfriends to tea without watching the clock. The car guard pushes your grocery trolley, the supermarket gives you discount, you discover quaint coffee shops and pensioner bargains. You can walk slow, drive crazy and laugh loud, put on two different earrings, your shirt inside out and everyone still tolerantly smiles at you. Happy retirement!!

On a serious note. I will always remember the morning after the church service when you heard of my little granddaughter's death. Your warm hug and your tears of understanding when we cried together for our departed children. Thank you, that meant so much to me.

May God bless you and Vernon.

u go do your thing!
