Marie,

It is so sad to see you go! Thankfully it is only a short flight away and you are certainly no stranger to airports :) I wish you the best in WI, we will definitely stop by and see you in Milwaukee sometime.

Hey there Marie.

What an exciting time in your life to have the best of both Milwaukee and San Diego!

While I'll miss the idea of having you here full time, I'm sure we'll still see you about the same, if not more often! I love you & wish the best for you on the new phase of your life!

Love,

Oh Marie! I'm so excited for you to be moving back close to your family. I know you'll miss SD, but you'll be able to visit there so often it will be like you didn't even leave. I know your mom is so happy to have you near her again. I hope your move goes well and I hope I can come visit really soon. I love you tons!!

Your new Adventure
by: Kate

Oh Marie! I'm so exicted for you to move close to your family. I know how much it will mean to your mom to have you there. She loves and adores you so much! I know it will be sad to leave SD - there are SO many memories there! But, you'll be visiting enough for work, so hopefully it won't even feel like you've left. I wish I could be there for your send-off, but know that I love you tons and hope to be able to come visit soon!
Love,
Kate

Dreams
by: Carrie

Hi Marie!

I know that this decision took you a long time to make. I have loved having you so near me and my family for the last 11 years!! You moved the day Eric was born, and made me feel like I actually had family nearby. I know that our family will miss having you so close, but know that we will still see you. We may even be with you more often! I know, too, that you have a vision for your life that has yet to be realized, and I hope that you find what you are looking for in your new life.
Lots of love from all of us!
May all your dreams come true!
Love, Carrie

Good luck Marie!!!
by: Christa

Dear Marie,

You are the reason I am here in San Diego! I would have never moved out here if you didn't inspire me to take a risk and make a much needed change in my life. I realize now that this is a time for you to make a change in your life! I am terribly sad to see you go and it will be so empty without you here. I know these last few months have been very difficult for you but I truly do think you are doing the right thing. For several years now, you have been talking about moving back and now you are doing it. You are following your heart and doing what you think is right and best for you right now! Goodbyes are very difficult for me, especially this one, but I feel comforted knowing that I will be able to visit you when I come home and I am fortunate that you will be visiting SD so often. I support you and am so proud of you! I wish you all the best! Good luck Marie!!!

I love you and will miss you dearly!

Love,
Christa

To a New Journey!
by: Corrie Kinney

Hi Marie,
Just a quick message to say “Thank you” being you. You are just one of those people who make life more fun! I love that you live life to the fullest! You are a hilarious, witty, intelligent, caring and beautiful person inside and out. You make every event memorable. Whenever I dig out my Christmas decorations I think of you. I play the Holiday CD set you gave all of us and laugh constantly at the clips you added throughout the CD. I also think of you when I hang up all the special ornaments you gave me each year. You just are a very thoughtful, caring and special person. You will be missed here in San Diego, but you will touch people’s lives and make a difference no matter where you go. I will also never forget my first “Canadian Thanksgiving” in San Diego…you made everyone go out to dinner the beginning of October and had everyone say something they were thankful for! I really appreciated that. Whenever I’m around you… I’m laughing. It’s sad to see you go, but I’m very proud of you for following your inner guidance. I really hope to see you whenever you come back to San Diego and you are more than welcome to stay with me anytime!! “Go Confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined”. -Thoreau

You have made a difference in my life!
by: Lori

Marie,

As you start the next chapter of your life, I just want to take a moment to let you know what a positive influence you have had on my life. Do you remember five or so years ago (maybe more, not really sure how long its been) when we were hanging out at your place and you turned to me out of nowhere and said, Do you want to go to church with me sometime? That one question litteraly changed my life. You and I together explored churches in the San Diego area, finally settling on Horizon. Remember when we heard Phil Wikham perform? He's still one of my favorite Christian artists and always makes me think of you. We eventually settled on going to Horizon. It was at Horizon that I realized how much I needed the Lord in my life and accepted him as a Christian woman. Also, it was at Horizon that we met Pam Marienthal (remember her? Our women's bible study group leader.) Well, Pam ended up recruiting me in Mary Kay, which has been a huge blessing and life changing event in my life. It's so easy to not realize how much we affect each other's lives, but I just want you to know that I will never forget the impact you have had on my life. I will also never forget how you make me laugh so hard when we are together. I look forward to you coming back to SD to visit and I will definitely come visit you when I'm in WI. You are a dear friend and I will miss you terribly. Best wishes as you start this new chapter in the journey of your life. God bless you!!

Lots and lots of love!!! <3

Welcome home cheesehead!
by: Kristine

O'Marie! I can't believe you are heading back to the cheese state! It will be so odd having you near again and getting to know you as a WI resident. I know we knew of each other in college but we didn't really become friends until you moved to San Diego. O'the fun we all had in our 20s in sunny San Diego; living there changed my life and you changed it for the positive. I wouldn't know sushi, jewellry, make-up, party clothes, and so many other experiences without you! I look forward to making memories now in our 30s in Milwaukee and Chi-town! It will be weird visiting San Diego without you there. Although I know we both have a welcoming "family" in San Diego to visit.
I wish you nothing but the best in this new chapter in your life. You have been talking about heading back to the midwest before I even considered it as an option. Just think I would have never moved to Chicago on my own and I basically came here kicking and screaming and now look at me, getting married! Who would have thought! So many great things are going to come to you in this new chapter. Keep your mind and heart open; you are an amazing person and deserve the very best! Love you lots and can't wait to see you in Milwaukee!
